What's BL/Yaoi?
If you're asking that question, you shouldn't be RPing here. :3 If you really need to know, then here you go.

When and where does ~FS~ take place?
This is a modern day J-rock roleplay, meaning anything that goes in your life goes in your character's, too. The setting is in Japan, for obvious reasons. More specifically, the setting can be an arena, park, whole city, school... it's up to you and what you decide on for a particular RP thread.

Can I play as a girl? I dig rocker chicks.
NO. If there's one big, absolute rule to ~FS~, it's no female characters allowed. This is BL. No women should be in the way of that. Of course, female roleplayers are more than welcome, but your character must be male, no matter how girly he looks. Of course, your guy can be a total trap to make up for the lack of estrogen on ~FS~. X3

We use J-Rockers for characters?
Yes, but your own, original characters. Be creative! Make something totally new up or use an existing real person as inspiration. It doesn't matter.

Does my character have to be gay?
Considering this is a BL forum, that's sort of the point! XD But if you'd rather have a bisexual character for some reason, go for it! Right now we're not expecting any straight characters, and we don't see any reason for them since this is BL-oriented roleplay. There isn't a rule against bisexuality unless for some reason it becomes a problem. Not every J-rocker can be gay, after all (as much as fangirls would like to believe they are). X3

Do I have to write sex scenes? They make me uncomfortable.
Do what makes you comfortable! Just make your preferences clear with your RP partners so everyone's on the same page. There doesn't have to be sex or even any mild relationship in every thread. Your character can simply be friends/siblings/etc. with other characters if you so wish it.

Does my character have to be Japanese?
This takes place in Japan (maybe with the exception of international tour events and the like) but this doesn't mean your character has to be Japanese. This is likely, but your character can be Korean, Chinese, Canadian, whatever... living in Japan.

Is there an age limit?
It's doubtful your six-year-old is going to get anywhere in the music world. So for all intents and purposes, the minimum age is 16. Your character can be in high school and trying to break onto the music scene; that's totally okay.

To post in OOC do I need a regular, non-character account?
Nope! Just post there as your character account; as you can see, your name (Roleplayer) is stated under your avatar as long as you set this in your profile. Make sure to do this so we know who you are.

What's the deal with bands?
Everyone plays as one character, and so that means you need to find a band! You can join one that's recruiting or you can make your own and recruit others, or you can even be a solo act. You cannot, however, make up four or five NPCs (non-playable characters) to fill your band—all the band members should be other roleplayers.

Who the hell is Heinrich and why is he editing my precious posts?!
Heinrich is the resident Grammar Nazi on ~FS~. It's his job to clean up bad code and minor spelling, punctuation, and grammatical errors. He will not, however, fix major grammar mistakes, like rearranging sentences, etc., as we feel that's going a bit too far. Your posts are your own, after all... just think of him as a sort of janitor.

Who are the admins at ~FS~? Who do I go to if I need help?
