[[ACCOUNT BASICS]]
Number of Accounts
Generally you should have one account, which means one character. You may have two characters maximum at this point. If you want another, you'll have to put one up for adoption or kill him off. Any additional accounts must be registered under another email address regardless, so if you want another character, you need another email address.
Usernames
SIGN UP AS YOUR CHARACTER'S NAME OR STAGE NAME. If you don't, this can always be changed later, so it's not a problem. Please do not change your name too often or use elaborate characters. There should never be any numbers in your username.
Character Gender
Your character must be MALE. No female characters are allowed on ~FS~ unless they are non-playable characters, and even then their roles should be minor at the most.
Basic Profile Info
In your Profile Information, everything except gender applies to your character, including birthday. Please set the day and month to your character's, not your own! Your own information can be added to your character's profile thread (see next subject).
Character Profile Info
Detailed character profiles (not the forum profile) can be posted here. Make sure to use the character templates posted here.
Deleting Accounts
The administrator (Calix) reserves the right to delete any account, at any time, for any reason. Inactive accounts will not be deleted, because Calix is a lazy bastard, but we expect you to stick around and post something. If you hit-and-run post, one of us will hunt you down and pull your toenails out with chopsticks.
[[AVATARS, SIGNATURES, AND IMAGES]]
Avatars
Choose an avatar that represents your character's image. Avatars cannot exceed 100x100.
Signatures
Signature images are more than welcome but keep them at a reasonable size to keep eyes from spontaneously combusting, preferably under the standard 150x500 limits. Moderators will tell you to alter the image if it's too large. Keep it to one image banner per signature.
Character Images
Real people as well as non-photographic artwork is welcome. No pornographic images! Please try to keep character image sizes reasonably sized. If your image is too big, you'll be told to resize it.
If using a photograph, try not to use something too close to another person's avatar. If you use the same person, this is okay, as long as they don't look exactly the same (same photoshoot, style, etc.).
General Images
In threads, you are more than welcome to post images. Try not to post anything too huge.
[[GENERAL POSTING]]
Grammar
Yes, even in OOC, good grammar is enforced. No txtspeak or the Admins will murder you. Heinrich, the forum grammar nazi, will save you, only to edit your post into oblivion.
BBCode Quality
You may think this rather random, but there are those of us who cannot stand messed-up posts that have broken tags. If you don't know how to use BBCode properly, 1. don't use it at all, and 2. you are absolutely retarded, because it does it for you. If for some reason you mess this up, get off your lazy ass and edit your damn post! If you don't, Heinrich will. And Heinrich's a naughty boy.
Double-Posting
Double-posting (or triple-posting, etc.) is generally frowned upon. There's an Edit Post option for a reason. If you double-post, it should be for a logical reason.
Font Style
For the sake of everyone's eyes, keep your font color and size reasonable if you decide to change it. It's acceptable to go crazy once in a while (ex. a big, rainbowy HAPPY BIRTHDAY on a birthday thread, though why you'd want to take the effort to do that is beyond reasoning). But for common posts, stay reasonable: not too small, not too big, not too bright.
[[ROLEPLAY]]
Grammar
Good grammar and spelling is a must. Spell check, proofread, and put thought and effort into your posts so others can read them easily. Quality is what we want at ~FS~. However, if English isn't your native language, we'll cut you some slack... reluctantly.
Emotes and Smilies
Absolutely no emoticons or smilies in the roleplay forums.
Post Quality
Please write more than two small paragraphs! Add detail, talk about what your character's thinking, describe the surroundings! Not every post has to be a novel, but give the other roleplayers enough to work with.
Ratings
The entire board is unrated, for the simple reason that the content is generally at an NC-17 level. Of course, anything below that is welcome, but considering this is BL, more graphic threads and language are expected. ;D
Therefore, rating threads is completely unnecessary.
