Soul Stealers

Seriously I've heard it far too many times that they're going to steal my soul, eat my soul, kill me in my sleep etc. But alas I love my dolls no matter what and spoil them by buying them nicer threads than I have even for myself >.< So here's the line up of my boys.. well the ones that have bodies and are complete.

Minamiru Okisa/// lovingly called Mimi. He's a Souldoll Killian that I won during Souldoll's naming contest event. They put up a mold and had people suggest names and whomever gave them the name they wanted to use would receive the doll for free, no shipping cost or anything. Lucky me submitted the name Killian and on Valentine's Day Okisa arrived at my home. He's away right now so I haven't been able to put him his proper wig but this is the boy:




I'll get better pictures of him when I get him back from my friend who's holding onto him right now.

Adonis Calixte Augustus// Then here's my birthday present that came exactly two months after Okisa. He was a dream of mine to own because I saw him on the Dollzone website and near died. He looked just like a character of mine that I created years ago. And so after much nagging from my mother trying to convince me not to buy him a check came in the mail for over $900. That was enough to buy three of him and so I bought one xD The rest of the money was used to buy other things I didn't need and pay bills xD So here's little Kitty (nicknamed so because he dates my friend's character who also happens to be named Adonis). I take a lot of pictures of him because he's so tiny and cute, Dollzone Megi is by far my favorite doll mold: He's a little girly boy too which is more reason to love him:






Yaris Yan Wei// This is my most recent addition to my doll family. You can't see it in these pictures but his face was pretty messed up. It was all shiny and slimy feeling; he's also missing a finger on his right hand. I've already sent him to get all of that fixed and I should have him back at the latest this weekend. The artist is 90% and from preview pictures she's done a smashing job. He'll soon bear the look of a harlequin. I've got to get to making his clothes. He's an Angel of Dream Chen which are only about $200 bought straight from the company but I got him even less than that because not only did he have those damages but he smelled like an ash tray. It took four days to get the smell out of him. Even so I took some cute pictures of him:

I also have Sebastian who's an Aoi Minimee, meaning the head mold was cast in the likeness of Aoi of Gazette but Sebastian has no body yet so no pictures. I'm saving up to get him one but those are like $300 so probably won't be a few months till I can get him one. That'll be another squeal for a few days moment as out of all the characters I've ever created Sebastian is my favorite. Any way enjoy or detest my doll spam xD

I also have to lol at the fact that the two books visible in the picture before last are also sitting on my shelf. D: <3

lol I just finished reading the novel. I bought another one right after, Gentle Cage. Addicted to them xD

Dolls aren't that expensive really, it depends on the company and the size. But yeah it takes me a bit to save up for them too.

[totally in the mood for yaoi novels right now] If you can suggest any others, let me know. XDDD

And the ones I've wanted have been pretty expensive. Not to mention that I'd probably commission a certain artist to repaint them. o,o

lol there are a few expensive ones I want as well but I rather wait till I'm not living in a house with a five year old and a slow dog to get them xD

Hm I've just been randomly finding good stuff at the comic book store. But for novels Digital Manga Press has some good new releases coming out soon.

I wish I had the money (and patience) for stuff like that. D: ...But I don't.

Kitty and Okisa were actually repainted for free. When Okisa first arrived his face had so much beige blushing that it looked like it was bruised and Kitty had no definition to his lips. The artist did a wonderful job though she charges now.

This is the last one she did for and I think one of her last commissions for the summer as she's about to have a baby. His eyes were uneven when I sent him to her and she fixed that free of charge. This is Sebastian (Aoi Minimee Head), I'm saving up to buy him a body now:



I find the most expensive part of the hobby is getting them clothes. Fortunately I know how to hand sew so my boys get to rock the things I make them xD I have a strict rule that I will not pay more than $30 for any one piece of clothing that goes on their bodies. If its too expensive and I like it I'll just make it.

I've been browsing Dollzone. <3 The Yue is adorable, as is the Orlando head (which i might buy along with a boy body).

I'm hoping to be able to get a Yuu one day. And just to note the pictures on the site are nothing compared to owner pictures. You can do so much with him. Orlando would look great as a boy.
