DAHILA

Vocals - Miya
keyboards, programming, "demon" voice - Kiyono

Sound -
Taking you into a world of love and lost, beauty and ugliness, light and dark. Miya's deep tragical beautiful voice makes the soul weep, while Kiyono's synthesizer and demonic screams and whispers send a shiver through your body! While most of their sound is dark, they still have their light at the end of the tunnel.Kiyono handled all the lryics and composing.
They take inspiration from Blondie, Eurythmics, Depeche Mode, Malice Mizer, Velvet Eden, and even Slayer.
Style: Neoclassical, Synthpop, 80's/70's new wave, dark wave, gothic, and death metal.

Look -
Dramatic and icy. Miya wears beautiful dresses and extreme hair, and Kiyono has long silky wavy hair and wears military inspired outfits. Miya being a fashion major, he makes their detailed costumes. Kiyono's keyboards look like a group of mutated naked corpses merged together. There look is just as important as their music, sending their fans into a new world as they play.

History -
Kiyono started he's band durning high school, where he played bass, but he's band mates soon left, knowing that they we're never getting anywhere with this. Kiyono wondered around after high school, trying to find he's new direction, when he met Miyo at a local show. The two became close friends and shared their interests. They found out that they both we're once in bands, and joked around about making one together. Eventually they created a band when Miya graduated from collage.

Popularity -
They are currently a brand new indie band, so they are only known in the underground scene, but their fan base is growing rapidly! Their first album "Blue Blood" was released recently, and is selling quite nicely, and their shows are sold out. They are currently looking for a label to sign with.
