School Days [OPEN]
Morning, 9am. The sun shone through blinds which didn't quite live up to their purpose at the moment. Tatsuya Asaki lifted his bed-mussed head, blinking the sleep out of his dark eyes. He pushed the covers off, lifting his arms—well, as much as he could being on the top bunk—and stretching out with a smile already on his face. He was always thankful to wake up in the morning; it meant an entire day to look forward to, even if he hated being up so early. Sleep felt nice too, after all.
Carefully, he slipped over the side of the bunk, delicate feet touching down on the slender ladder leading downwards. His oversized nightshirt rode up a bit as he made his way down, shamelessly showing off the pair of baby blue girls' underwear he wore, and even though no one was around, he giggled softly to himself, whispering: "Naughty shirt!" He pulled it back down and jumped the rest of the way to the floor, wiggling his midnight blue painted toes and taking a deep breath.
"Goooooood morniiiiiiing~!" he said aloud to the room. He pushed the black fringe of hair from his eyes, making his way to the bathroom to brush his teeth and put in his blue contacts. With that all done, he walked back out, tying his long, undone hair back in two pigtails. It was a pretty morning, and the smile just never left his face. He hoped it would be a good day.

Re: School Days [OPEN]
Unlike Tatsuya, Riel's morning wasn't nearly as cheerful.
Riel had woken up and 5am, gotten dressed, and went to his required geography class (for his college credits). His morning had not yet been miserable yet, seeing as he had completed his homework and research that he had been assigned. For once, he felt prepared, and the several hour class he was going to attend would be boring, but easy.
"Easy....yeah, right.."
He walked into the nearly completely silent classroom, attended by about fifty of his peers. Half of them surrounded the chalk board in an eerily silent aw. He himself approached it, and the silence swallowed him as he too gazed up at the dirty blackness.
On the board in big, ivory, condemning letters were the words 'Surprise In Class Essay'.
Riel Furse wasn't prepared, not in the least. The professor assured them that if they had done their assignments they would be able to complete the essay no problem. Riel wondered if the trouble maker in his class had been the cause of this, seeing as the other student never did her homework and constantly claimed that she knew exactly what the rest of the class was discussing.
Grudgingly, Riel wrote his essay, and by something short of a miracle he was able to finish the final draft by the time class was over. All the meanwhile, he had been cursing the girl with a hope that she would fail even harder than he probably had.
Currently, Riel was walking back to his dorm with a heavy messenger bag hanging from his shoulder. Thankfully the professor hadn't assigned any homework, almost as a truce that said he was sorry for the nearly brain and grade shattering essay. Riel wasn't about to forgive him, though.
He fumbled with the door handle before turning it and walking inside, he didn't even take note of the awake Tatsuya (which normally would have been rather strange sense the kid never woke up this early), let alone acknowledge him. All Riel did was drop his bag by his desk and walk over to the lower bunk. Then, he promptly collapsed onto it (still wearing his converse) and let a very displeased sound escape his throat.
Riel's jean-clad legs rose up to bend close to his chest as he moved an arm over his eyes to block out the sun. In the least, his next class wouldn't be until 7pm later that night.
He had been allowed some time to recover.

Re: School Days [OPEN]
Unfortunately for Riel, he shared a dorm with Tatsuya (or Mirza; he couldn't remember the last time anyone outside of official business called him by his actual name). There was no such thing as recovering.
He was a bit miffed at being passed right by without so much as a nod or greeting. They were roommates, not strangers. Maybe they weren't friends, but he still deserved some acknowledgment! How rude! His large blue eyes followed the taller male as he dropped his things and then dropped himself right down onto his bed. Mirza's smile disappeared, replaced by an exaggerated frown, and he sauntered over beside Riel's bunk, bending down a little and waving his hand frantically in front of of Riel's arm-covered face.
"Hey!" Mirza whined, mouth hanging open as the note was drawn out. "Heeeey. You could say hello, yes? How come I don't get a hello? Didn't you even see me?" He placed a cool hand on Riel's wrist, shaking his arm slightly in an attempt to get the other to look at him. His Keroppi charm bracelet jingled softly, having a bell hidden somewhere inside the tiny bright green frog. He straightened up anyway, putting his other hand to his chin in thought, eyes lifting to the ceiling.
"Maybe I need to dye my hair something brighter," he mused softly, slipping a few black strands through his fingers pensively. Couldn't miss someone with bright hair. Right now the fringe was its usual jet black and in the back, deep blue, almost black as well.

Re: School Days [OPEN]
Mirza would be lucky today, seeing as Riel was just too tired and depressed to be annoyed. He was in one of his 'couldn't give a flying fuck' moods. These moods were generally spawned by some sort of failure, and today his failure happened to be that essay that would probably lower his grade by an entire letter.
He just swatted Mirza's hand away, giving a small (but not quite irritated) sigh,
"Not now, Mirza."
His exhaustion was echoed in his just barely audible voice as he pulled his hand back.
"I'm not in the mood today."
Well, Riel wasn't in the mood any day, but that wasn't the point. He was always yelling at Mirza for one reason or another. Yet, as much as he yelled at his roommate he didn't hate him. Mirza wasn't a bad person, it was just that he was a little.....
well, he was Mirza.
Man, Riel seriously needed to play his bass.
He pushed himself up from the bed and ran a hand very roughly through his ebony hair. The teenager sighed as he did so before he managed to stand and walk directly past Mirza and heading toward the locked door. He would go into the back room and chill for awhile, even if he was just going to listen to music. In the least, he would be able to escape Mirza for awhile.

Re: School Days [OPEN]
How annoying! Mirza thought, completely unaware that to most normal people he'd be considered the annoying one, not Riel. He huffed a bit as Riel got up and just walked into the next room, still not even saying hello. Not in the mood? You didn't have to be in any kind of mood to be polite and greet a person. At least that's what Mirza believed; it was hard for him to comprehend that people weren't always as cheerful as he was.
"Ruru-chan!" he called, stomping along behind his roomie, towards the back room. Riel had distinctly told him he couldn't come in, so he respected that, but it didn't mean he couldn't be annoying from the door. "Ruru-chan, you're being a Mr. Grumpy again!"
He crossed his arms and rushed past Riel, standing directly in front of the door and blocking access. Well, as much as someone as small as he could manage. His long eyelashes fluttered innocently, though the frown was still somewhat on his face, slowly giving way into a tiny smile. He looked a bit like a begging puppy, staring up at Riel like a mischievous angel.
"Mr. Grumpies still need to say hello like everyone else!" Mirza chided him, smile now permanent again. "Come on, come on, come on! Cheer up, Ruru! Your favorite little Mi-chan loves you!" He took Riel's hands in his own, offering his best and most charming grin, a soft pink blush on his cheeks.

Re: School Days [OPEN]
Riel stared blankly down at the boy in front of him. Okay, this wasn't going to work.
He let out a much more prominent sigh now, slightly irritated.
"Mirza.." he murmured, running a hand down his face, "please don't call me that."
He looked down once again at the embodiment of cheer through the crevices of his fingers before he allowed the hand to return limply at his side.
"and you're being mister annoying again, don't you ever know when to quit? I'm tired and I'm beginning to get a headache, move."
Riel's voice had become much sterner now as he ordered Mirza to step away. It was then that his roomie grasped both of his hands in his own. Very subtly, the piercings on Riel's left brow twitched. His voice dripped with obvious sarcasm as he spoke,
"Favorite. Uh huh. Yeah, right."
He yanked his hands back almost immediately and grasped Mirza's arm and dragged him to the side. Needless to say, he wasn't the least bit gentle as he directed the boy away from the door. After that, he walked over to the door, unlocked it, and opened it just enough for him to step inside. He slipped in quickly and closed the door, locking it behind him.

Re: School Days [OPEN]
Waaa! He didn't know what was the matter with Riel all the time. Why couldn't Mirza ever find cheerful friends, anyway? He seemed to always end up around these sorts of Grumpy Gus types. And Riel was one of the worst he'd come across.
"Ow!" Mirza wailed as Riel pulled his hands out of his own and shoved him aside; it was more an expression of surprise and hurt feelings rather than being in actual pain. "B-but. Ruru—Riel." He had a bit of a hard time pronouncing Riel's name, which is why he'd made up his little pet name in the first place, but he tried his hardest now. When Riel closed the door in his face, he pouted and rubbed his arms.
"You're so mean, Riel!" he shouted loudly enough for the stupid jerk to hear. "Just... just go jump in front of a bus! A really big, ugly bus!" So childish when he was angry, and it showed.
He sniffed like an insulted prince and went to his drawers, pulling out some clothes to wear for class: a tight black tee with some sort of blue, cartoon hippo on it, and black cuffed Bermuda shorts. He slipped into black-and-blue striped knee-high socks and then a pair of his favorite platform sneakers before going into the bathroom to do his hair. He was surprisingly quick at it for how much hair he had, pulling his current pigtails into high ones instead.
"Let's go!" he said to his reflection, smiling brightly and leaving the room. He stopped by the forbidden back room's door, sticking his tongue out at it. He knocked loudly on it six times before shouting: "I'm going to class! Remember to jump in front of the bus when it comes, stupid!" With a loud hmph! he charged off out of the dorm room.

Re: School Days [OPEN]
"Just... just go jump in front of a bus! A really big, ugly bus!"
Riel rolled his eyes. He wondered how many times he had heard that one.
He sat down in his chair and grabbed his headphones as he relaxed back into the gaudy, worn armchair. Calmly, he untangled the wire as he listened to Mirza walk around the room and get dressed. It was kind of cruel, but Riel sometimes really got a kick out of seeing Mirza upset. It was almost as if he felt that he had proved that the brat could feel another emotion besides bubbly glee.
As Mirza pounded on the door, Riel ignored him as he placed his headphones over his ears. Even though the music, Riel could still here Mirza's persistent voice.
".....Remember to jump in front of the bus when it comes, stupid!"
He heard the door of the dorm slam, and he sat in contemplation for a few moments. He was still concerned about the essay he had written, but needless to say Mirza among all else was the ultimate distraction, and he had forgotten his plight for the moment.
Although, he hadn't eaten breakfast and he was rather hungry. So, Riel walked out of his backroom, massive headphones still plastered to his head.
His slender hand reached into his bag and pulled out his leather wallet and slipping it into his back pocket. As he did so, he contemplated not coming back until his next class at five and give Mirza a scare. Hell, if the kid wanted him to get hit by a bus so bad, he might just do it.
And then, a rather mischevious smirk spread across his face. Casually, he sat down at his desk and grabbed a pen and a yellow paper pad and began to write. Oh ho, this would be good, this would be very, very good.
Dear Mirza-kun..
He added the kun for emphasis, like hell would he ever actually waist any honorfics on Mirza.
I've thought about what you said, and I decided that I'll do it. I'm sure no one will miss me, seeing as I don't have many friends and only a mother and father. I know I've been mean to you and I regret it, maybe the lord will forgive me, and hopefully you will forgive me....
Riel snorted, he was going over board and he knew it. But MAN he was having fun..
my life has just been so stressful too, I just don't think I can take it anymore, Mirza-kun. So, I've decided to end it, this is my final goodbye. Please tell my mother and father that I love them. Everything will be over at 42nd Street.
Sincerely,
Riel
Riel knew this was wrong on so many levels, and he kind of felt bad when he added the 'PS: thanks for being a great friend'. This was cruelty and insulting to all those who had ever had a friend commit suicide, but Riel just couldn't help himself. He loved pulling Mirza's leg. He would buy the kid ice cream or something later to make up for it. Heck, maybe this would even teach his roommate a lesson.
So, Riel then left for breakfast with an appetite still intact and with the note written and in an envelope with Mirza's name on it on the bathroom counter where he was sure Mirza would find it.
Hopefully the rest of his plan would go accordingly.

Re: School Days [OPEN]
Mirza sat through class, fidgeting as usual; he couldn't sit still for five minutes, let alone an entire hour. He practiced instead of taking notes, playing a silent song in the air above his lap, fingers fondly playing along an invisible guitar. He resisted the urge to hum out loud, as the others around him were already looking at him like he was an idiot. Instead he tapped his oversized shoes on the carpeted floor, bobbing his head from side to side, jet hair shaking bouncily.
He was glad when the lecture was over with, bounding outside the lecture hall and turning up his MP3 player full blast. He rushed past a crowd of girls, all of whom were staring quite openly at him (he didn't look like most students, after all), half-walking, half-skipping along the walkway that would eventually take him to the student dorms.
When he opened the door to his shared dorm room, the first thing he did was call for Riel, back to addressing him as Ruru-chan, forgetting all about everything earlier. He smiled, eyes wide and searching the room for any sign of his grumpy roomie. He knocked on the door to the other room, but got no reply, and he heard nothing from inside.
"Ruru-chan?" he called. "I got high marks on my bio test, I wanted to show you...."
His smile eventually disappeared, and he sighed softly, assuming Riel had just stepped out for a bit. Oh well! Mirza had some new lipgloss he wanted to try out, so he took up his giant makeup bag and walked to the bathroom. He turned the light on and pulled a double-take at the paper sitting atop the counter. Raising a delicately curved eyebrow, he picked it up and read over it, blue eyes widening to dinner-plate proportions by the end.
"A-ah! Aaaah!" he half-screamed, tossing the note away as if it were a spider or similar creepy crawly thing. "Ruru-chan! Stupid Ruru-chan!" Tears welled up in his round eyes, and he snatched up the note again, reading over it to make sure he wasn't just imagining it. At the postscript Mirza let out a high-pitched wail, more than loud enough for others to hear from across the hall.
STUPID MIRU! his mind shouted at him, like an angry little angel on his shoulder. You told him to jump in front of a bus and now he's gone and done it! Stupid boy! How could you do something like that! Mirza shook violently, sobbing just as hard as he ran out of the bathroom. He immediately went to his blue cell phone, Badtz-Maru charm flying this way and that as he shook. He called the first number on his list, trying to hold back his loud crying as he waited for Ryou to pick up.
No answer. Mirza let out another wail, leaving a frantic message for his bandmate: "Ryou! Oh my god, I made Ruru-chan commit suicide! What am I supposed to do, I told him to jump in front of a bus and he left me a note and he said... he said...!" He broke into yet another wail. "He said he was going to kill himself! Ryou, I'm a murderer, I'm going to jail! Poor Ruru-chaaaaan!" He couldn't go on anymore, his sniffling, moaning sobs overwhelming him. It was unlikely Ryou even knew who "Ruru-chan" was.
There was only one thing left to do now. Mirza shoved his cell in his pocket and ran out the door, heading full-speed towards 42nd Street... wherever that was.

Re: School Days [OPEN]
Riel sat down the hall in the lounge, playing his old, ruby gameboy advance. He sighed slightly, seeing as he had been waiting for half an hour for some blatant sign that Mirza had found the note. It was bound to happen eventually..
The pained wail that echoed down the hallway caused many students to stop and look around shock. Riel nearly dropped his gameboy from his own surprise, but he still had to stifle his laughter. Oh god, he was so, so mean. He had never even heard Mirza make such a sound before.
Quickly, he saved his game and turned off the little machine and stuffed it in his pocket. He began his way down the hall, taking on the image of a very depressed person. He shuffled as he walk, kept his eyes downcast and gripped his arms. Riel looked up through his bangs as he heard a door open, and sure enough there was Mirza, looking like he had been the cause of his friend's suicide.
Perhaps he was a little too in character as he walked down the hall, but he had to be convincing. Riel lowered his eyes again and made his way toward the door, acknowledging no one as he walked down the hallway.

Re: School Days [OPEN]
He was running so fast he barely had time to stop when he saw the familiar figure lurking in the hall. A... ghost?! His heart beat like a drum against his chest, and a single teardrop fell to the floor from the small point of his rounded chin.
"You're supposed to be dead!" Mirza exclaimed, too astonished to see Riel that his tears stopped right away. But what did it matter if he was supposed to be dead or not? What mattered was that he was still alive, and Mirza gave a cry of glee, rushing forward and jumping like a striking snake at Riel, arms and legs fastened around the taller male. The momentum bowled them both to the ground, making some other students stare quite curiously.
He started sobbing again, but this time out of joy. "How could you do that to Mi-chan! I was so scared! Stupid Ruru!" His face, red with his crying, disappeared as he sniffled into Riel's chest, tears soaking his clothes. He laughed through his hiccuping sobs, snuggling close to his favorite Mr. Grumpy, glad he was still alive and breathing.

Re: School Days [OPEN]
Ten AM and sun pierced his eyelids like daggers of fire. A woman in black and white stood at the corner of the outrageously large window, her dainty hands pulling back the blinds and letting into the light of day. One man rolled over in his king-sized bed, moaning as he dragged a pillow over his head and uttered the usual;
"Five more minuuuutes"
But then the obnoxiously loud ring of his cell shattered the peaceful atmosphere, and even if it was one of his favorite songs, it was not appreciated at this hour of the morning. He flipped over, looking quite a bit like a drunken scotts-terrier with broken legs as he fumbled to get off his oversize sleeping accommodations. He log-rolled until he fell off and landing with a painful thump, cellphone clattering onto his face as he hit the floor and knocked it from the bedside table. Royal purple eyes caught the image of his guitarist as the phone plummeted towards his eyes. After it smacked him on the bridge of the nose and fell away in a cloud of glitter, his hand finally caught hold of the slippery little device. He slid it up (it was a light blue Chocolat phone, his current favorite, because the skin sparkled slightly) and caught the phone just as it gave him new voicemail. The message itself was a little odd, and he wasn't entirely sure he was awake enough to understand.
Why was his guitarist murdering his roommate over bus tickets?
Well the only answer this sleepy keytarist could come up with was to go see Mirza at his dorm. Slowly, he rose to his bare feet, brushing down his skewed sparkly silver silk pajama set. He padded over to the closet, threw on some low-hanging jeans of dark denim, a studded belt, and a muscle-tight shirt that matched his silver pajamas in appearance. It was halter-style and collared, showing off his shoulders as well as everything else. And then, he called the limo.
Perhaps it was a bit too much for arriving onto your basic college campus. How would Ryou know that, he'd never gone to college! What a waste of his time. Famous people didn't need higher education. And that was exactly what he was going to be. He ran a hand through his hair, letting the wind blow it dramatically as it whipped a shower of glitter into the breeze. He saw a couple girls stop and stare, long enough for him to smirk in satisfaction and keep walking. It was worth it when he passed a slack-jawed male freshman, who had previously been studying geometry on the quad. He'd found a much better figure to look at, apparently.
The might-as-well-be-male-model strut his way to Mirza's room, knowing the layout of the college from a couple of previous visits. He came to pick Mirza up for practice pretty often. So he figured he'd found the right place on his own... especially when he'd heard the random wails coming from the building. Definitely only one guy who was going to do that.
He didn't even need to get to the dorm! There was Mirza, and some other guy, all rolled up together in the middle of the hallway. Ryou's lip twitched. What the fuck was this.

Re: School Days [OPEN]
Ow. Ow,Ow,Ow, Ow, OW.
Riel wondered if he had gotten a concussion, hot damn. He hadn't remembered Mirza being that heavy..or..that fast. But either way, the back of his head hit the ground so hard that he might as well have jumped in front of a bus, he swore everything had gone black for a moment. Well, that was disorienting. It took the student a moment to grasp his surroundings again.
"I know I'm supposed to be.." He murmured, voice incredibly soft, "I couldn't do it Mirza-kun...I'm..I'm too much of a coward."
Again, he was laying it on a little thick, but what the hay?
but then he actually took a moment to actually look at Mirza's face. The boy looked like hell, face covered in tears and red from crying. The hiccups and the wetness on his chest made everything even worse. Even Riel was capable of guilt, and he felt awful. He should have known this would have happened, but he didn't know the freshman cared for him that much. He wrapped an arm around over Mirza's waist, almost cautiously as if an atom bomb would explode if he did.
"H-hey now, Mirza. Don't cry," he said gently. Okay, now he was being sincere. Why had he decided to pull this shitty prank again?
Tentatively he raised a hand to the boy's hair and petted it carefully, "there's no need to cry, I'm fine, see?" The sniffles and hiccups almost made Riel sick. Great, just great.
"...I heard somebody died?"
Riel blinked, he couldn't afford to look away from Mirza to see who the foreign voice came from. He hadn't expected anyone else to be involved, had Mirza told someone out of panic?
If he had, Riel was sure he was seriously fucked.

Re: School Days [OPEN]
Mirza started to calm down a little when Riel patted his hair, finding no gesture more comforting. He loved to have his hair touched, and the gesture only made Mirza snuggle closer to his roommate, nuzzling his neck in rather pet-like adoration. He repeatedly whispered: "So happy, so happy..." because well, he was.
And then he heard a familiar voice, the one he had expected to hear on the phone and didn't. It was Ryou. His head darted upwards, and a too-large open-mouthed smile spread across his features. He pushed up off the floor, putting all his weight onto Riel as he did so, unfortunately for the bassist. He even half-stepped on him in his haste to run over to Ryou, his hands clasped together much like an enamored schoolgirl.
Ah, the one man whose number one fan Mirza had been, and still was. Glitter glimmered on that white hair, catching Mirza's blue eyes and attention. He was so focused on the glitter that it took him a couple of seconds to snap out of it and start talking.
"Ryou! Ruru-chan isn't dead!" He pointed down to Riel on the floor, his own platformed feet happily stomping in an alternating pattern. After pointing, he latched onto one of Ryou's arms, pulling close to him in his usual overly friendly manner. "Isn't that good?" He giggled happily, tugging his bandmate over to where Riel lay on the floor.
"Hey, Ruru," Miru said, "this is my darling Ryou, I told you about him. Ryou, this is Ruru—I mean Riel. He's my roomie. He's kind of a stupidhead but I like him anyway." Apparently that was supposed to be a compliment, as Mirza knelt down as if he were inspecting a ladybug on a flower and planted a kiss on Riel's cheek, smiling so much his eyes were half-closed.

Re: School Days [OPEN]
Ryou stood there in confusion, trying to grasp what it was exactly that had just happened. So, Mirza wasn't in jail, and he was clinging to the dead guy, who wasn't actually dead, but he was his band-mate's room-mate. So nobody was dead, and everybody was alive, and Mirza wasn't a murderer, and his victim therefore wasn't dead. Made perfect sense.
"Nobody died...?" He said it out loud just to drive the point home in his head. Accomplishing that, he wiped the exterior confusion from his facade, and struck a pose (as best he could with Mirza on his arm). His free hand flipped his bangs, sending another shower of glitter into the air. With Mirza's arm on his hip, his other hand sat out like he was holding an invisible martini glass. A rich man's pose. He set a cool smile on his features, and batted his eyelashes once or twice.
"Ah! So you must be the not-dead man! You may call me Seiteki. Yes, that is the same Seiteki you've seen on CD covers once or twice in your life. I'm sure you've already heard of me, but you didn't know it, with Miru-chan here calling me Ryou all the time. It's okay, we all make mistakes sometimes. Like I just thought that you were dead! And it's a good thing you're not, or you wouldn't have gotten to meet me! What good fortune! You probably want an autograph. Ah, but first. It's not necessary to kneel before me, though i'm flattered."
Ryou reached a hand down and offered it to the gothic boy to get up. He was ignoring the fact that he wasn't kneeling, but sitting, too in love with himself to think this was anything less than an honor. He'd totally forgotten that he came over here in a hurry to bail Mirza out of potential jail time (because God knows what would happen to him in jail), and as usual, his fan base came first (which was everyone, whether they knew it or not.)

Re: School Days [OPEN]
Riel's face must have been several shades of red (or maroon due to his skin color) as Mirza nuzzled his neck. That was incredibly awkward (at least for Riel it was). Although, Mirza's all but too apparent happiness made him feel even more god awful. Go figure.
Thankfully it was all over soon, though, despite Riel being stepped on. Then Mirza introduced them of course..and kissed him on the cheek. It wasn't an uncommon thing for the boy to do, but it still made Riel's shoulders heat up uncomfortably. He turned around and stared up at the other male, who was just as (if not more than) flamboyant than Mirza was. Okay, Riel had to be polite, this was Mirza's friend.
"Uhm..It's nice to finally meet you, Ryou.."
Again, there were no honorifics.
The brink of his lip twitched as the male above him seemed to go on and on. So much so that Riel thought he was joking, no, he was positive he was joking.
"Aha, yeah, we all want to be famous some day."
Riel stood without taking the other mans hand and scratched the back of his neck. He was three inches taller than Seiteki.
"I want to be a novelist someday, myself..Maybe publish some poetry." He gave an awkward, forced chuckle and smile.
"But yeah, I'm Riel, I'm sure Mirza has told you about me at one point or another.." He cast an almost dirty look at said person, "myself being Mr. Grumpy or otherwise."

Re: School Days [OPEN]
Mirza only continued to smile, holding Ryou's wrist with one hand and taking Riel's hand in the other. It was almost like the two men were married and Mirza was their annoying little child with how it looked. He rocked slightly, shifting his balance from one foot to the other and repeating constantly, impatient to show Ryou around his dorm. He'd never really done so, usually getting outside the door before the other came to pick him up for practice.
"Come on, come on!" he finally said, dragging them both forward and towards the room. "I wanna show Ryou around the dorm!" He finally let go of the both of them to push the door open, running inside and waiting in the middle of the room excitedly. He always wanted to give Ryou a tour for some reason; maybe he just wanted the other to like him that badly, and for Mirza that included liking his room. Why? Who knew.
"Look, look, look!" he chirped, pointing to the bunks, his blue cloud-print blanket hanging over the top railing. "Look, I sleep up top and Mr. Grumpy sleeps on the bottom. It's like the angels like Mi-chan go up to Heaven and scary Mr. Grumpies have to sleep on the bottom, like... like Hell." His voice lowered almost conspiratorially as he looked at Riel, then to Ryou, hoping to impress him with his stupid bunk bed metaphor.
"Then over here there's this room but Ruru-chan never lets me see inside," Mirza continued, skipping to the back room and pouting. "I d'know why he doesn't, or what's inside." He scooted close to Ryou, getting on his tiptoes and whispering (more than loud enough for Riel to hear) into the glittery male's ear: "I think maybe he looks at... H stuff...."
Mirza bit his lip to suppress a giggle, blue eyes on Riel in utter amusement. He always had been curious as to what Riel exactly did in there, and the first thing he assumed, because of the privacy and strict rules about the back room, was that Riel couldn't be doing anything besides looking at porn.

Re: School Days [OPEN]
Ryou cocked his head to the side, brushing his hands together as if wiping them of a job well done despite Riel shunning his help. He didn't know why someone would do that, but clearly the collision with the floor had scrambled his brain. That's also why Riel started going on about poetry. Fuck poetry, Seiteki was all about music.
"I said call me Seiteki, Ruru-chan~" Ah, he'd already picked up on Mirza's little nickname. Well, he really didn't have time to humor this little awkward roommate. He loved fans, but there was something a little off about this one. Did he really want... crazy fans? He shouldn't encourage them. So he let himself be tugged into the dorm room by Mirza.
His jaw dropped-- you couldn't even fit Ryou's bed in this room. Or this pathetic excuse for a room. It was more like a closet, the way you had to stack beds just to fit two people. Actually, Ryou might've had a closet just about this size.
"...is it humane to live in an enclosure this small? Is there any air?" Ryou asked, clearly having lived in his manor for far too long. He admired Mirza's witty commentary on the bunk beds with a nod of approval. He looked up at the sheets, so painfully cutesy, but somehow so predictable. He reached up a hand and grabbed a fistful of the softness that Mirza usually slept in. Not bad, but if he ever slept over at his place, he'd show him how a bed was really done...
Before he got too carried away with that thought, however, he swivelled back around to face the pittiful remainder of the room. At which point, he found himself particularly close to Riel. He thought he'd been a little odd earlier, but now he saw it, clear as day.
The underside of his nose.
Riel was taller than him. This was horribly unacceptable. His expression dropped immediately. He glared over at the secret room and put his hand to the doorknob. So Mirza couldn't go in... it wasn't stopping him. Besides, nothing wrong with a little porn. Might burn Mirza's eyes, but not his.

Re: School Days [OPEN]
Riel neither glared nor frowned at the witty remark about the bunkbeds. He was used to it, to put it bluntly. In Mirza's mind he was no doubt the demon while his roommate was the angel, seeing as it wasn't just their clothing that was light and dark.
But there was one thing he would not tolerate...
"I said call me Seiteki, Ruru-chan~"
No, that simply wasn't going to work.
"Don't call me that. My name is Riel." Riel's polite voice from earlier had gone rather blunt, and even partially demanding. He watched as Seiteki look around the room in a strange, practically disgusted aw. Riel was aware of Seiteki's kind, seeing as he too was almost one of them..but not quite.
"You're wealthy, aren't you?" Riel questioned with a curiosity that didn't even sound all that curious, "I understand...but this place grows on you, it's better than being kept up all alone all of the time. The smaller space can feel like home, too."
He smiled admiringly at the poster decorated walls and hanging lights he had put up during his first year, among some of the other more abstract furniture and lightning. A small space for an artist was inspiring and easily to personalize.
Then the smile was gone as he caught the all too audible whisper into Seiteki's ear. Again, his brow pierced and he rolled his eyes toward the shortest of the three.
"Trust me if it was porn I would just----"
The Junior's voice trailed off when he saw the stranger's hand on the door. Although, he reminded himself that he always locked the door to hide his basses, amps, drumset, and small mixing station. Yes, all of the equipment he could ever need was safely locked away....
but as the hand rested on the small bronze knob, it turned..
Riel hadn't locked the door
SHIT
Riel was quick as he stepped in front of the door and grasping Seiteki's wrist quite tightly. His glare was so intense that it looked almost feral.
"Didn't you hear him? I don't let him inside, and I'm not planning on letting you in either."
His natural violet eyes narrowed dangerously as his hand tightened upon Seiteki's wrist, speaking the words he had earlier to Mirza but this time there was a threat in Riel's tone,
"Step away."
But there was one thing he would not tolerate...

Re: School Days [OPEN]
Ryou had more or less intended to offend Riel with the name comment, since he'd otherwise been unimpressed by the boy up until this point. And though he'd been right about him being wealthy (ah, so he had heard of him! He knew it. If only he weren't so stupid to see how obvious he was being) he hadn't been really welcoming. And so Seiteki was going to bring it upon himself to uncover the mysteries of this tiny, tiny room.
"Let go! What on earth do you keep in there?" He'd already said it wasn't porn, and really, who freaked out like this over porn? What was it, dead bodies? Now he really wanted to see inside.
"And if I dont step back...?" Seiteki turned his head to eye Riel, who was busy cutting off the circulation to his hand. Well, he'd find out. With his bound hand, he let the doorknob go, able to yank it away just enough to get his other hand on the knob. He twisted, turned, pulled, and got it open wide enough to slip the front of his foot in the door. He'd wiggle it open no matter what effort needed to be exerted! All in a flourish of glitter!

Re: School Days [OPEN]
Okay, now Riel was severely pissed off. He hated stuck up brats like this, thinking they could always get their god damn way. At least he hadn't turned out like this.
"If you don't step back I'll break your fucking wrist," he sneered, twisting and pressing the bones in the glamor king's wrist as he turned his own hand. If he had done so anymore, it was likely that he would have sprained the man's hand.
"Can't you respect a person's privacy and back off?"
A part of Riel was just telling him to calm down, to just chill for two seconds. But this was a secret Riel had always kept from people for one reason or another, and he already began to hate this prick the moment he had laid eyes on him.
Then a struggle ensued, which caused plenty of cursing,
"Back.The.Fuck.Off!!!"
Riel tried to shove Seiteki away and slammed the door closed, but instead the power he exerted was forced upon the foot blocking the door's path, so instead he stood in front of the small opening and glowered and the offender. This guy was a bit harder to move compared to Mirza, despite his lithe frame.
"What the hell is your problem anyway?!" Riel growled. Why had Seiteki even started this in the first place?
What a prick.

Re: School Days [OPEN]
Oh, no. This wasn't what was supposed to happen. In Mirza's mind, he was happily jumping from landmark to landmark (if anything in this tiny room could be called such) showing Seiteki their wonderful little shared home. And now Riel's famous Mr. Grumpy side was just ruining the happy atmosphere.
"Waaait!" Mirza shouted, running over but not getting too close, not wanting to get hurt. "Stop it! Stop yelling!" These were his two best friends (though neither of them probably saw him as such in return) and he didn't want them fighting.
It was probably safer to grab Seiteki and move him away but for some reason Mirza ran to Riel, taking his wrist and looking up at him pleadingly. His lip even trembled visibly.
"Please stop!" he begged, shaking Riel's arm up and down once. "Ryou didn't know!" Well, he did after the first warning, but... Miru wouldn't mention that little detail. "Please don't raise your voice like that, it's so scary!" With that, Mirza's head dropped, his black fringe covering his face in exaggerated sadness.

Re: School Days [OPEN]
Ryou winced a bit, expecting his foot to be slammed in the door. He thanked the thick soles that stopped the door before it really crushed his helpless foot. Well, he'd put it in the line of fire himself, but he was sure it would forgive him. Unlike this guy. Oh well!
Ryou recovered from the shove, refusing to move his foot. Well, nobody shoved Seiteki around, so regardless of his guitarist's futile pleas, he'd be going for the win anyways. Resisting the urge to just knee him in the balls (really, if he were going to obstruct his view by standing in front of an opening that had his foot in it? He was asking for it. But then he'd have to move his foot, and he'd never give that door a chance to lock. Even if it might have been worth it.
"It's not good to keep secrets!" Ryou smirked, a cocky counterattack to Riel's boiling rage. "Really, what's wrong with you? It's not something illegal, is it~? Hiding these things from your own roommate is indecent~" His deep red lipstick smudged onto his canine as he bit lightly on his lip. He looked like a vampire the next time he smiled, and then backhanded Riel right across the cheek.
"Now let the fuck go of my wrist! I need that!"

Re: School Days [OPEN]
Riel didn't even look at Mirza, his teeth clenched in a permanent sneer as he all but growled at Seiteki.
Hell, it was on now. There was no way that Riel was going to back down, especially when he knew he could take on this bastard. He was taller, he was stronger. The guy in front of him looked like he hadn't exercised a day in his life...and something about that made Riel even more disgusted. He hated the rich brats who never had to work a day in their life and thought they could get away with murder..
"It's not good to invade someone else's home either, or did your parents not teach you any fucking manners, you little stuck up piece of shit."
Riel may have been furious, but he still had his sense (or at least the majority of it to make witty remarks).
"and barging into a person's property without their consent is rude and unforgivable-"
His cheek suddenly stung with fire for a moment when he saw that all too satisfied smile upon Seiteki's smug little face. Had he just been....bitch slapped?
Screw sense, screw being civilized, this guy was fucking going down.
The Junior did indeed let go of the man's wrist, but only to grab a fistful of that ivory hair and pull. No, this wasn't a girly little yank, this was meant to threaten and control. Riel was furious now, so much so in fact that he wanted to hurt and scare the living piss out of this asshole at the same time. His soul flew from his body and he became possessed as all of his strength was exerted upon the other man.
He practically fell upon Seiteki as he pinned him to the ground, his hand still gripping the bastards hair and trying to pull his head back while the other wrapped around his neck just tight enough to hurt. The ajar door had most likely been opened further by the events, but Riel was far too concerned with putting this beauty queen in his place.
Normally, he wouldn't have let himself become like this, especially in front of Mirza of all people....heck, it was likely that Mirza had never seen him this pissed.
So, at least he would learn that this was the reason why Riel never let anyone into the back room.

Re: School Days [OPEN]
There was a scream. Mirza backed away a couple of steps, delicate hands to his mouth in horror. It hadn't even been ten minutes since the two had met and here they were about to kill each other. This wasn't any good, no good at all.
Mirza had never seen Riel like this, and he didn't even realize the guy was capable of any other emotion besides aloof disinterest. Now he was like a scary tiger, pouncing on his Ryou, about to rip that precious glittery hair from his lovely scalp. He briefly wondered why Riel had never done the same to him—not that he wanted that, because who would want that?—since he silently admitted to himself that he could be a bit of a nuisance sometimes.
Finally the guitarist rushed forward again, kneeling beside the struggling pair, his arms trying to find some safe opening between them to break this all up.
"Quit it!" Mirza cried. "It's just a room! You're going to hurt him! Stop it! Stop, stop, stop, stop!" With every "Stop!" he yelled, he started to slam his palm down on Riel's shoulder blade, trying to get him to release that death grip on poor Seiteki.
But his haste and stupid platform shoes were a curse to the little male today, as his ankle twisted under him and he fell over right into the door, swinging it open completely. He landed on the floor face-down with a thud, half-inside the room and half-out, his arms splayed out in every direction.
"Owwie," he moaned miserably, pulling himself to his knees. Was this... it? The secret back room, Riel's H Den, as Mirza liked to think of it? Well, it didn't look very pervy....
