Riel is a healthy young man, with an average height and build (although he leans toward the thinner side). He is well muscled and fit.

Normally, he wears a compilation of gray, black, and brown clothing. In fact, he hardly goes out and buys clothes unless the ones he currently has are beginning to tear.

He has fashion sense, but more often than naught he dresses only for comfort.
He also wears a lot of 'jewelry'. He does often wear fingerless gloves, rings, wristbands, chokers, and necklaces.

Instrument: electric/acoustic bass. Although, he is capable of playing the drums.

Riel can also sing, but mostly as the chorus. He's also very capable of doing a very sexy growl (that's in italics for a reason). However, his isn't completely over the top like what most people would normally think. A good example of what he would sound like is Pete Wentz from Fall Out Boy, except Riel sounds a little bit deeper and stronger.
His voice when singing is normally deep, but not excessively so. Riel cannot hit high notes to save his life.

Personality: Riel can be described as rather two faced. Around friends, he can be extremely kind, open, loyal, and very, very protective. Yet, while in public, Riel is very soft spoken and nearly invisible.
and bottom line is..Riel doesn't like people.
However, that isn't to say he is rude. Riel is only rude to people who irritate him, and there are several types of personalities that he can't stand. Normally, he is rather polite until he deems a person unworthy of such respectable treatment.

Riel is very strong willed, brave, and intelligent. His pride, however, can often get him in a fight where he is in far over his head. Riel is a very devoted individual, and when he starts something he will finish it.
He can also be extremely bitchy when he's pissed off or stressed, so watch your step.

As a student, Riel is all but obsessed with school. Obsessed in the sense that he studies way too much and becomes stressed whenever there's a test he believes that he can't pass with flying colors. His low self esteem isn't reserved for school work either. Sure, Riel is confident when it comes to dealing with people, but when it comes to his talent his esteem is at an all time low.
Riel composes music, writes lyrics and stories, and even sings. But god help him if he would ever do it in front of somebody. Unless it is a school assignment, no one has ever read his works, and no one has ever heard him play. Most of his friends don't even know about the drum set and numerous basses in the back room of his dorm, and the file cabinet that is always locked holds all of his written words that sit only to collect dust until looked upon by Riel and no one else.

Influences/Favorite Bands:
Well, Riel listens to everything from punk to symphony. However, because he lived in America for most of his life, he was greatly inspired by a lot of rock, punk, and techno.
One of his favorite bands is Green Day, and he has been listening to them for almost ten years.
He's also been into Daft Punk for a rather long time.
Also, he knows the words to every Beatles song, so don't mess.

History:
Riel's father and mother originally met in Britian through business connections. His mother (Japanese) was working as a translator for a Japanese client of the father (British).

Riel was born in the U.K. and lived there until he was six. Then, his family moved to America due to his father's job. The family was reasonably wealthy, and they lived comfortably in a large two story. Although, due to both of his parents jobs, the family never spent much time together as a whole, and there were even a few times where Riel was left with a nanny to care for him. Naturally, this made Riel a very independent boy.

He finished high school, and then his mother accompanied him to Japan to finish his education there. He is currently a Junior in college.

Throughout elementary and middle school Riel played the drums. During this time, he all but worshiped the drummer Tre' Cool from Green Day. However, he was very much conflicted because he had begun taking lessons to play the bass guitar in 6th grade. This was very unlike him, you see, to not completely devote to one instrument. He continued Band in high school and played the drums, while at home he played the bass much more fervently. Riel practiced almost desperately to try and master both, but by the time he had become a senior he had all but completely converted to the bass.

In the back room of his dorm there is a drum set. Occasionally, he will pick up his sticks and make a beat, but he only does this very rarely and only on vacation when nearly no one is still in the dorms.

Additional Information:
His dorm room is rather big, and he takes up nearly all of the space.
Nearly every wall is covered in posters, these posters ranging from Happy Tree Friends to advertisements for local bands in the states. You name it, he has a poster of it.

The dorm has bunk beds and a couch that folds out into a bed, a bean bag and a old ps2 hooked up to an averaged side T.V.

Riel is half Japanese, a little less than half British. He's also has some Croatian and Irish in his blood.

Riel works out at the gym whenever he can, it's very important to him to stay fit.

He played soccer in high school as offense and occasionally the goalie. He also practiced tennis with his mother.

Romantic Relationships: In high school, Riel went through girlfriends a little too often, but mostly because he was bored of them. He wasn't very fond of people in general, and was rather antisocial because he got the reputation for being cold and easily angered. So, currently he believes he is straight and is a little deprived and inexperienced when it comes to love.
